24-3: Tough Entry
Workout Structure:
1. Tabata Set:
- Squat Floor Touches
2. Tabata Set:
- Alternating Stationary Lunges
3. Three Rounds:
- Farmer's Walk with Dumbbells
- Kettlebell Deadlift (alternating 10 reps)
- Farmer's Walk with Dumbbell Curls to Overhead Press
- Landmine Jammer Press (right side, 10 reps)
- Landmine Jammer Press (left side, 10 reps)
Workout Purpose:
Today's workout is designed to simulate the physical demands of making an initial entry into a building. The Tabata sets are intended to elevate the heart rate, reflecting the adrenaline experienced during such an event. The Farmer's Walks and Dumbbell Deadlifts mimic carrying equipment to the entry point. Finally, the Landmine Jammer Press focuses on building the explosive power and force required for effective entry.
